On a recent flight to shoot aerial photography of a large beach renovation project in south Florida near Naples the weather was great over our flight path. The scenery changes from the lush green rust belt cities of Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Columbus turned into the summer greenery of Nashville, Atlanta and down to Gainesville and Orlando.
Everything went fine till we hit mid Florida just west of Orlando, when the summer weather got stormy forcing us to land in Ocala. north of Tampa.
We waited out the storms for a few days, and eventually flew the assignment.
We had an outstanding and uneventful return flight.
